Speaker: MIKE ARMSTRONG (38-year member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish, Chatham)

Topic: Creation Care of the Earth under Pope Francis’ Encyclical, Laudato Si’, and Care of the Body (Diabetes)

Mike and his wife Vickie have been married for 53 years, have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.  He has had Type 1 Diabetes for 63 years.  Mike is an active volunteer with Climate Crisis or Change Education. Board memberships have included the Chatham School Board, Sertoma Club, and Helping Hands Shelter.

Mike follows the teachings of our last three Popes: John Paul ll, Benedict, and Francis. All were very vocal about climate, its effects on the poor, and our Catholic duty of creation care for our precious earth!
